On the way to the John Lennon Wall in Prague

On the way to the John Lennon Wall in Prague.  We stop for a photo at a tiny bridge over a canal which is decorated with the Locks of Love. (Liebesschloss)

John Lennon Wall

Once a normal wall in a quiet corner of Prague, since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles songs.  It is continuously evolving and represents peace and love.

St. Simon-Elena rehearsal

We were all initially thrown off by the acoustics in this cathedral.  As we were positioned within the interior of the dome near the altar, the sound reverberated against all of the stone surfaces and echoed back at us.  It sounded like we were playing in a tile bathroom.  Once the church was filled with people for the concert, the acoustics were perfect.  Nothing like an audience to dampen the sound!

St.-Simon-rehearsal

It was amazing how professional the kids were throughout the tour.  Although we were all exhausted on this last day, they remained focused and attentive.  With each rehearsal and performance, they demonstrated quality musicianship and professionalism.
