At long last, we have the famous Apfelstrudel for dessert!
A beautiful warm evening at the winery restaurant, the kids laughed, sang and amused themselves by taking silly photos of each other.

On the morning of July 8th, we embark on a 7 hour bus ride from Vienna we arrive in Prague (Praha in Czech). We proceed directly to the boat terminal to catch a dinner cruise. This overview of the Moldau shows a hot air balloon which has an open harness for 1 to 2 riders.
As Prague is one of the few cities which did not suffer major destruction during the two World Wars, it is home to an array of structures from all different time periods which remain largely intact.
The open top deck of the cruise boat provided a great view of the city with it’s many bridges and buildings.

As we cruised along the Moldau we saw many examples of different types of architecture.
Designed by Vlado Milunic and Frank Gehry and built in 1996, this building is also known as “Fred and Ginger”.
