This looked like a regatta of party boats.
The main thoroughfare between the Prague Castle and Old Town Prague.
We saw swans everywhere, as well as herons and of course pigeons.
We all learned to rest whenever we had a moment. Elena takes a brief nap on the boat cruise while we wait for the locks to clear so we can continue upriver.

July 9th; we begin our second day in Prague with a walking tour of the Prague Castle, Saint Vitus Cathedral and Old Town Prague. I pose at the entrance to the castle. The guard does not look pleased.
Imposing in its size and design.
There were several gargoyles guarding each entry to the cathedral. The kids found the gothic style creepy but fascinating.
The colors and detail were amazing. There were dozens of windows like this one, each with it’s own separate altar area or tomb.
